Breeding Guide in The Sims 4 Horse Ranch Pack
If you’re anything like us you’re already looking up custom content to use for your ranch or farm. You have tons of chickens roaming around and now you’re wanting to expand your farm with horses. If you want to rescue or purchase a horse you can do so by using your phone and ordering them. This can be found in the same section as adopting a cat or a dog. You can also create your own horse in the CAS (create-a-Sim) menu.
Once you have the horse you want to use for breeding purposes you need to find a horse of the opposite sex. You need to encourage your horse to breed with their mate. It’s a matter of waiting to see if anything happens. After they have had some time to get to know each other you’ll receive a notification that your female horse is pregnant and expecting. The baby should appear after a few days of waiting and you’ll have either a filly (female foal) or colt (male foal).
How to Rescue in The Sims 4 Horse Ranch Pack
If you want to rescue a horse you’ll need to follow the same mechanics as adopting a cat or dog. Head into your phone menu and scroll through the different options until you see an option for horses. After you have chosen this option you will be able to scroll through a variety of different horses you can rescue to add to your ranch. Once that’s over with someone will come from the adoption agency and will allow you to play around with the horse to see if it’s a great fit. After you’ve played with your horse you can end the adoption screening process and finalize the rescue.
