It’s been a while since I covered a Roblox game, but things are apparently just the way I left them. A new game released on early-access? Check. Several play styles available for you? Check. The setting being many islands across some sort of seas? Triple check. Well, we can clearly notice the references, but this game has been a hit amongst Roblox players with more than 10 million visits, and 30 thousand active players at the moment of this article’s writing. The formula never gets it wrong. Anyway, here is how to block in Roblox Arcane Odyssey.
How to Block in Roblox Arcane Odyssey
While I always go guns blazing at enemies in complete disregard of my own safety and well-being by throwing the best attacks I have in my arsenal, countless deaths have proven that defense is a valuable thing to have. And I’m not only referring to dodging and having a legendary piece of armor equipped, I’m talking about blocking. You see, I have always struggled with the idea of blocking an incoming attack, and parrying was just an impossible dream. Thankfully, things are not as complicated in this early-access Roblox game.
Things are like this. Since this is a PC exclusive game, you will only have to press G in order to block any incoming attacks. If you time this correctly, every melee attack you received by blocking will show a “Blocked!” prompt, and your enemy will become staggered. You know what that means, right? That means that it is your time to strike back in retaliation, and since your enemy is staggered, he will not be able to block your attacks. That, or since your enemy could potentially be more powerful than you, you can opt for retreat and run away from the encounter. It is up to you what to do after each block.

And well, as you can see, it is not rocket science, it is just the pressing of a key. Be sure to time your block correctly, and you will be able to stagger the enemies that attempt to damage you. Furthermore, be careful of any encounter with multiple enemies and focus your damage output wisely, as well as your blocks. Good luck!
