How Do You Defeat Zhuyan in Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty?
When you first encounter Zhuyan, you may be a little in awe of his appearance. The boss is a giant ape with demonic features that can make him look a little scary to younger players, and he is white-necked with red legs and fierce eyes. In order to defeat Zhuyan, you will first need to understand all of the possible attacks that the boss will dish out in Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty, so without further ado here is the complete list.
- Zhuyan has a couple of Basic Attacks where he runs up and hits you two or three times in quick succession.
- He has an unblockable ranged attack which you will need to dodge in order to not be hit.
- In a similar vein, you cannot block his Jump Attack, so make sure you avoid this as well.
- If you are behind him for too long he may attempt a Tail Spin Attack to catch you off guard and cover his weak spots.
How Can You Take Him Down?
To fully destroy Zhuyan, we recommend that you do not attempt to ambush him from behind. This will only result in a Tail Spin Attack which may cause severe damage to your character. Fight him head on and use blocks and parries to avoid taking damage from his Basic Attacks. You will be able to avoid being pushed back when you successfully perform these defensive maneuvers.
Be careful when he jumps back, because this means that he is about to perform his unblockable ranged attack. You can stagger him to interrupt this attack execution though, so this is a possible counter to the unblockable hit. Just make sure you don’t miss your own counters or you will be left vulnerable for a massive Jump Attack! Good luck warrior, you will need it!
