How to Beat Twixt Heaven and Earth Battle in Tactics Ogre: Reborn

Battling the last battles of Tactics Ogre: Reborn sometimes is not about brute force and magic. Sometimes, it is all about strategy. That is the case of the Twixt Heaven and Earth battle that, if not confronted correctly, would seem like an impossible task. Don’t get frustrated though, there is always a way and yes, we have it here in Gamer Journalist, you lucky, lucky dog. Here is how to beat the Twixt Heaven and Earth Battle in Tactics Ogre: Reborn.

Twixt Heaven And Earth Battle

While you will be tempted to go after the strongest foe in the battle, which is no doubt the Knight Commander Andoras, you might want to think about it twice. Like always, things are not like they appear and when everything seems very simple, they actually are far from it. Sort of. Let’s see what are you up against. Like I said, Andoras will lead the enemy party, that is composed of 9 Templars, 2 Baldur Golems and 2 Thunder Dragons. You will need to kill Andoras in order to win the Twixt Heaven and Earth battle.

That is why attacking him directly would be the obvious choice. Or it would seem that way. See, the distribution of enemies prevents almost all damage made thanks to the Baldur Golems (and also allow all enemies to deal damage to your party), and if any damage is made to Andoras, the Templars will heal him. So basically you are into several layers of trouble.

Battle Strategy and How to Kill Andoras

Don’t worry, all you need to do is disable each protection layer. First off, the Baldur Golems. Be sure to bring allies with high damage output such as Dragoons to get rid of them. Next, the Templars. Kill them as soon as you get rid of the Golems. This will prevent any healing performed when confronting Andoras. Finally, once all the other enemies are dealt with, Andoras will be a piece of cake. After all, to beat the Twixt Heaven and Earth battle, you want to attack based on enemy target choosing rather than pure strength (that is tactics like in, you know, Tactics Ogre).
