Building the Seer’s Hut in Ravensthorpe allows you to transport to Asgard, to help Valka investigate your strange visions further. Asgard can be a difficult area to get out of, as there are many drawn-out fetch quests and running around to different areas of the realm. One of the bosses in this area is known as The Builder, and he can prove challenging if you don’t know the proper strategy. Here’s how to beat The Builder in Assassin’s Creed Valhalla.
How to beat The Builder in Assassin’s Creed Valhalla
The Builder is a two-phase fight, and his second phase adds a couple more magical spells to his arsenal. In the first phase, The Builder primarily melee attacks and casts some magical spell that throws you into the air. His head is his weak point, and you quickly shoot an arrow at it while you are in the air.
Successfully landing an arrow shot to The Builder’s skull will disorient him, causing him to fall to the ground for a short period. Use this opportunity to unleash a few melee combo attacks. Do this a few times until his health drops below 50%, and he enters the second phase. The Builder will occasionally cast a spell that traps you in a cage, allowing him to enter and attack you while you have limited space to dodge.
The Builder occasionally smashes the ground with his weapon, causing a glowing orb to spawn. You can pick up the bright globe by pressing your interact button and then hit The Builder for more damage while it’s active. Doing so will also stun him momentarily, allowing you a window of damage.
Do your best to avoid all of The Builder’s melee attacks because they do hurt. Luckily, they are relatively slow and easy to telegraph. You can survive by dodging and grabbing health and arrows from around the room when necessary. That’s all there is to it. After defeating him, you are close to exiting the realm of Asgard.
