Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty will have players at the edge of their seats throughout the entirety of this mythical game. There are so many different enemies that it can make your head spin when trying to remember how best to effectively counter them all. This is especially true in terms of the bosses, since they vary from other humans to a massive boar named Fengxi. With many different fighting styles in this game and a lot of strategies that vary in terms of how you should approach any combat situation, players are often split over the best method to take down enemies in the game. The boss we are going to cover today is a little disgusting, so don’t say I didn’t warn you. Anyways, let’s dive right into how to defeat Taotie in Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty.

How Do You Defeat Taotie in Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty?

Honestly this boss is quite possibly one of the grossest ever made, with its confusing mix of multiple different creatures and animals, as well as the random pieces of flesh jutting out everywhere. It has tons of hands and rippling features which only serve to make it look more…textured. Ugh! Anyways, in order to defeat it you will need to make sure that you are able to avoid its many attacks, since although it moves quite slowly you will sustain a lot of damage if Taotie does manage to land a hit on you. Here is a list of all its abilities and attacks that you may encounter.

• Flame Spew – Shoots a whole lot of fire which goes everywhere and will set the ground alight.
• Poison Spew – This time it spews poison onto the ground instead of fire.
• Chaos Tendrils – Tendrils will come at you from underground.
• Power Fist or Power Stomp – Taotie will either stomp if you are close, or attempt to get you with a fist smash if you’re far away.
• Leaping Smash – Taotie will attempt to jump on top of you and crash down with devastating damage.
• Rolling Pin – It will charge straight ahead and attempt to flatten everything in its way.

How Do You Take it Down?

In order to finally defeat Taotie, you will eventually need to deplete its spirit meter, quite like many of the other fights in this game. It will be stunned once you deplete this bar, and then you can do a spirit attack to deal tremendous damage on the glowing part of its body. Try to hit its eye and the pustules all around its body to hurt it and make progress in destroying it. Sometimes you will need to jump in order to hurt it at the parts you need to (where it’s glowing), so make sure you are prepared for that. Good luck in this boss fight, warrior!
