Warhammer 40K: Darktide really hosts some despicably disgusting beasts. As you crush your ways through the heretical halls, you’ll eventually come across the dreaded Beast of Nurgle. This monstrosity is huge, hulking, and will try to rip apart your team, potentially causing some serious damage. Thankfully, there are some strategies that you can perform to take the beast down. How to defeat the Beast of Nurgle in Warhammer 40K: Darktide
There will be no warning when the Beast of Nurgle is upon you. No matter how close of far your allies are, the monstrosity will come charging through a horde of plague-bearing scabs and dregs. Making quite the entrance, the behemoth will immediately start charging towards you.
Don’t get too close
The Beast of Nurgle has some nasty tricks up its sleeve. it will leave a trail of sickly yellow slime in its wake, which will slow you down, so try to avoid it.
Generally, the giant slug will attack anything within a moderate melee range, but will mostly charge towards players, hitting them back. If you get a little too close, however, it will not think twice before it devours you whole.
Whilst in its bile-full belly, you will receive quite substantial damage before getting spit out and thrown across the room.
If you are not careful, then this beast will melt through your health. You must also be careful of the huge horde of enemies that come rushing with the monster. It may be worth one of the teammates, preferably an Ogryn, to thin the herd a little.

Killing the beast
So, the best strategy for felling this foul beast is to use powerful ranged weapons. On its back is a horrific boil, which serves as a weak spot. Veteran Sharpshooters deal 15% more damage to weak spots, so if you want to topple the thing quickly, then they had better maintain fire on it.
Staying away and shooting at it is the best course of action. Just make sure you are far away, and don’t stay still. Otherwise, it will quickly clear the distance and gobble you up.
Speaking of, when the beast does consume another player, it is briefly immobile and incapacitated, so take that time to really lay in on it, throwing all of your fire power towards that weak spot.
Maintained fire on the weak spot whilst staying away is the key to victory. It will be dead in no time.
