In total, there are 24 various stages strewn about Kirby’s Dream Buffet, with each one populating randomly when moving from one to the next. They’re all gorgeously themed, and each has its own obstacles and things to worry about throughout them. Let’s talk about each game mode and explain the strategy to each of them.

  • Race – Perhaps one of the most enjoyable of the mini-games, Races allow you to really play around with the game’s various mechanics. Just as the name suggests, players will race to the finish of each level. These levels have things such as obstacles, enemies, and many strawberries and other fruits to collect. In the end, there are three plates filled with strawberries to eat, so grabbing the biggest in the middle is the best bet as the winner is determined by which player had collected the most strawberries over the course of the race.
  • Minigame – Minigames are a bit more hectic, as you and your competitors are all trying to gather as many strawberries as possible while trying to keep them away from getting their own. This one can be fun but kind of stressful as the maps are very small. Avoiding enemies and focusing on big areas of strawberries is the best strategy for this one.
  • Battle Royale – This mode is similar to the Minigame one as players are tasked with trying to gather as many strawberries as possible in a limited space, only this time, your strawberries are at risk as enemies can steal them. There are also additional hazards that the game itself will throw at you to trip you and your competitors up. Though attacking enemies and stealing their strawberries seems like an easy way to win, avoiding them and just focusing on the randomly dropped strawberries is best to keep you out of trouble.

Additionally, using the various Copy Abilities tossed throughout all of these mini-games is going to help you win as they’re great at taking out both other competitors as well as obstacles like those pesky biscuit walls you’ll find in Races. Good luck!
