What are Heart Events in Story of Seasons?
Heart Events act as the cutscenes in Story of Seasons: A Wonderful Life. Once found and completed, they strengthen your bond between you and the Marriage Candidate. These Events only appear once you have gained a Heart. There are a total of 4 Hearts to gain, therefore there are 4 Events to witness and play through until you will get the opening to propose to your Marriage Candidate.

How to Activate The Cutscenes
Heart Events or Heart Scenes occur at specific intervals throughout your playthrough. But the only way to get these to happen is by strengthening your bond with your chosen Marriage Candidate. You can do this by following the formula primarily used in JRPGs being gift-giving and communication. Whilst this formula can be used in real life also, the act of gift giving goes even further in games such as Story of Seasons. Gifts such as Milk, Eggs and Meals go a long way in Story of Seasons: A Wonderful Life. Simply hanging out with these Candidates, as friends or to build romances will give you Hearts towards your bond with that specific character.
By communicating with your chosen loved one throughout the first year in A Wonderful Life, you will build up your bond progress as seen by the Heart Meter. As this Meter details both your platonic friendship and possible romantic relationship with each Candidate, you will be able to always check how far your relationship progress has gotten with that person you visit and speak with every day.
Each character will need their Heart Meter filled to gain the next Heart needed out of 4 before you can propose to the chosen one. The problem however is that you will not know exactly how to see the Heart Event for the specific character of your choosing as you need to visit a specific spot in Town at a specific Time with the character available to converse with. If any of these variables are not present, the Heart Event will not occur.
