How Many Endings are in Cyberpunk 2077?

Unlike a few other games I could mention, Cyberpunk 2077 doesn’t have a binary morality system. There aren’t really any good guys or bad guys in Night City, after all. However, even without a moral choice, the ultimate fate of V is still very much up to you. Here’s how to get all of the endings in Cyberpunk 2077.

Parting is Such Sweet Sorrow

Cyberpunk 2077 has five normal endings, plus a secret ending. Technically, you can get any of these endings in a single run, provided you’ve fulfilled the prerequisites. The majority of the endings require you to complete all quests associated with particular NPCs, which I’ll explain in a moment.

At the very end of the main questline, in a mission titled “Nocturne Op55N1,” you’ll need to enter the restaurant Embers to have a meeting with Hanako. This is the point of no return, as the game will advise you, so make absolutely, positively sure you have a manual save file before you go in there.

The Star Ending

You’ll need to complete Panam’s three quests for this ending: “Riders on the Storm,” “With a Little Help from my Friends,” and “Queen of the Highway.” During your important discussion in the final mission, choose to call Panam for help. Afterwards, take some Omega Blockers and be given a choice: return to your body and leave Johnny in cyberspace, or stay in cyberspace yourself and let Johnny take over. For this particular ending, return to your body and leave Night City with Panam.

The Temperance Ending

This ending follows the exact same requirements as the Star, but when you get the final choice, choose to stay in cyberspace. Johnny will take over your body, and you’ll be free to roam the cloud as a cyber spirit.

The Sun Ending

For this ending, you’ll need to complete two quests for Rogue: “Chippin’ In” and “Blistering Love.” During the chat, say that “you and Rogue should go,” then take the pseudoendotrizine and choose to stay in cyberspace with Alt.

The Devil Ending

Whether you’ve finished Rogue and Panam’s quests or not, you can also choose to side with Hanako and the Arasaka Corporation. Just agree with her on everything and take the Omega Blockers. You’ll get the choice again, but in this case, it doesn’t matter which one you choose.

The Suicide Ending

Follow the final mission any way you choose, but when the time comes to take the pills, instead say you could “put all this to rest” and destroy the pills. V will simply drop dead.

The Secret Ending

When you’re given the choice to take the meds, don’t do anything. If you wait for about five minutes, Johnny will chime in with a plan to attack the Arakawa Tower solo. This is an extremely difficult combat encounter with no checkpoints, but if you come out on top, you’ll get the secret ending.
