How Many Days in a Season in Harvestella – Explained

Don't let the sun go down on me.

Who would know that combining a farming simulator with an JRPG was going to render a quite unique and entertaining game? Well, count me in as one of the skeptics, but Harvestella proved me wrong. And while this game is far from perfect, it has been gathering attention from fans and successfully creating a community behind it. With fighting enemies being a big part of the game, taking care of your farm is as essential as it can get. Like any simulator, specially one dedicated to crops and all thing’s nature, a season cycle mechanic is a must, and Harvestella incorporates it to its gameplay. With that being said, how many days are in a Season in Harvestella? Let’s find out.

How Many Days in a Season in Harvestella

So, foremost, we have to talk about days in Harvestella. Usually, they last as long as you want. You can make the best out of the day and occupy it with tasks and adventures and end it before midnight (otherwise you will pass out of exhaustion), or you can be a slouch for the day and go straight to sleep just as you wake up. This is hitting very close to home, so moving on. Basically what I’m saying is that each day varies in its length. Take that into account. Now, there are four seasons in Harvestella, and you probably know them by heart: spring, summer, autumn, winter. Each of these seasons last for 30 days.

I have a confession to make, I lied. There are actually 5 seasons in Harvestella. And while, yes, there are four regular seasons, there is a fifth one that takes place between each season. It is neither the last day nor the first day of the next, it is a new season that is called Quietus, also known as the season of death. It will last for one day, in which all your seasonal crops will die, and you will have the opportunity to visit the Quietus dungeon to increase your stats, gather some loot and discover things hidden from everyone else.

Now that you know how the season cycle works in Harvestella, make the best out of it and yes, watch out for Quietus, it is deadly. And dark. And scary. Help.
