Hours fly by before I even begin playing a video game that offers limitless amounts of character customization options. Years ago you would find me absorbed in Saints Row, The Sims, Mass Effect and now Street Fighter 6. All with the same goals in mind: to either make the most badass looking, the most ridiculous or the most uncanny character that resembled me. The options in Street Fighter never end in your character creation. So what type of vibe are you giving off? Someone who is down for any fight, someone who is the underdog and should never be underestimated, or someone just here for a good time. Whatever the case, this is Vincent’s guide on how many custom characters you can make in Street Fighter 6.
Can You Have Multiple Custom Characters in Street Fighter 6?
Street Fighter 6 offers more gameplay options than ever seen before. Yes your favorite street fighters make their return once again, looking better than ever I might add, but what about the new World Tour representing the Story Mode for SF6? Here you can create your own character to represent yourself and dive into the world of fighting, alongside the very best that you have grown to love and play as throughout the years. But just how many characters can you make in Street Fighter 6? Well the answer is one that you may not be happy with.
There is only a total of 1 custom character that can be made in Street Fighter 6. You do need get any option to switch mid journey in your World Tour or start a new Story Mode on your same account. Instead, any drastic changes you wish to make in Street Fighter 6’s World Tour will either have you overwriting your old save or making a brand new account just for a new custom character.
Capcom does offer players the easy ability to change custom character’s name for both the World Tour and Battle Hub. You need to keep this in mind if you are playing to play both Modes as the name you pick for your custom character will be the same when you play online. So you probably do not want to attach your real name or something boring to it. Then again, the fighters themselves are called Luke, Jamie and so on, so you would actually fit in with your biological name.
