Hypixel scarcely needs an introduction. Their Skyblock especially so. If you are a brave adventurer, you may be interested in the dungeons, and all the loot that can be reaped from them. One item in particular may have grabbed your attention: The Dreadlord Sword. How to find Dreadlord Swords in Hypixel Skyblock
The Dreadlord Sword
The Dreadlord Sword is a rare or epic sword that unleashes devastation upon its foes. It is found in the Catacombs, which is currently the only dungeon in the game.
This weapon has a magical ability that allows you to send forth a wither skull, dealing 500 – 750 base magic damage to all mobs in a 3-block radius. Without a cooldown and only costing 40 mana, you can slug off Wither Skulls like no one’s business.
The Dreadlord Sword itself deals 52 – 120 damage. All damage and stats off this weapon depend on which floor in the Catacombs it was dropped from, so when acquiring it, make sure to keep the most powerful iteration of the sword.
To wield it, you’ll need a Catacombs Dungeoneering Level 5.

The Crypt Dreadlords
To actually grab your hands on the Dreadlord Sword, you’ll need to face off against the Crypt Dreadlords, deadly enemies that can harness the aforementioned ability of the Dreadlord Sword. However, you cannot simply kill one and expect its weapon.
The weapon itself only as a 5% chance of dropping from the Crypt Dreadlords, so you’ll have to defeat quite a few. That’s a 1 in 20 chance of a Crypt Dreadlord dropping it.
These guys are lethal and you will need to be prepared when fighting even one in the Catacombs.
Despite them wielding what looks like a diamond sword, you’ll be receiving what looks like an iron sword. Strange.
