Isn’t it great when an old friend comes to visit? It would be, if said old friend was actually an old friend and not an error code. Call of Duty Warzone 2.0 — and it’s sibling, Modern Warfare 2 — are experiencing a series of errors that make playing the game atrocious. And, it’d seem that one particular error has been plaguing the Call of Duty community for years, codenamed “Goldflake.”
If this error has been beating you into submission, we’re here to help! Here’s everything you need to know about the ‘Goldflake’ error, including how to go about fixing it!
How to Fix ‘Goldflake’ Error in Warzone 2.0?
If you’re unfamiliar with this error, it’d seem to be associated with the server status of any given game. It is most common on console versions, though it’s not unheard of on PC. You could be receiving this error and not even know it — if your issue doesn’t include the word ‘Goldflake’ but does include the error code ‘BLZBNTBGS000003F8,’ then they’re one in the same.
That said, because we’ve been dealing with this issue for years, some methods of correcting it do exist. To start, you should make double sure that you’re logged in to the game — on PC, this could include making sure Battle.net is properly logged in. It might seem kinda basic, but sometimes, these issues are also kinda basic. You can also try power cycling your router or rebooting your PC and/or console. As I said, sometimes, these problems can be kinda basic. It’s nothing against you, there are times we wouldn’t ever think to try these fixes, but … ironically, they can be just what we need.

If none of these fixes do anything for your specific problem, be sure to check the Warzone 2.0 Trello Board! It’s possible that someone else is dealing with that same problem and has already reported it. If not, there’s a way for you to report it! In any case, we hope you’re able to get back in the game soon!
