We have a total of two fish and seven insects on our list, so be sure to check through this post and see if you’re missing any on your Critterpedia. Here’s the list of fish and bugs leaving in June in Animal Crossing New Horizons.

Fish leaving in June in ACNH

  • Cherry Salmon
  • Char

Luckily, there are only two fish that will be leaving the game come July. The first fish going is Cherry Salmon. This little guy will be leaving in June before it makes a comeback in September. If you do not have yourself a Cherry Salmon, try to hook one up at a Clifftop River location. Any river on the second or third level of an island can spawn a Cherry Salmon between 4 pm and 9 am.

  • Fish: Cherry Salmon
  • Location: River (Clifftop)
  • Months: March – June, September – October
  • Time: 4 pm – 9 am

The other fish leaving this month is the Char, which has the same seasonality as the Cherry Salmon. One thing to note is that this fish is tough to catch. If you still need one of these, we recommend you get to work because you might be at it for a while.

  • Fish: Char
  • Location: River (Clifftop)
  • Months: March – June, September – October
  • Time: 4 am – 7 pm

  • Firefly
  • Ladybug
  • Pill Bug
  • Centipede

Let’s shift gears and take a look at the bugs leaving this month. First up is the Common Butterfly. This bug is available year-round for the exception of July and August. If you don’t get one by the end of this month, you will have to wait until September.

  • Bug: Common Butterfly
  • Location: Anywhere
  • Months: January – June, September – December
  • Time: 4 am – 7 pm

Next up is the Yellow Butterfly, which is available from March through June and September through October. Again, if you don’t have one of these, you will need to wait until September to catch one.

  • Bug: Yellow Butterfly
  • Location: Anywhere
  • Months: March through June, September through October
  • Time: 4 am – 7 pm

Another butterfly leaving this month is the Peacock Butterfly. This one goes at the end of this month until next March. You may want to get to work on this one if you don’t already have it. It’s not difficult to catch as long as you have some hybrid flowers on your island. If you don’t have any hybrid flowers, you can try visiting someone who does.

  • Bug: Peacock Butterfly
  • Location: Blue and Purple Hybrid Flowers
  • Months: March through June
  • Time: 4 am – 7 pm

Next up is the Firefly, which is only available this month! If you miss out on your opportunity, you will be waiting an entire year to get one again. Make sure you are looking for these little guys after 7 pm because they only show up at night.

  • Bug: Firefly
  • Location: Anywhere
  • Months: June
  • Time: 7 pm – 4 am

Another bug you may want to look out for is the Ladybug. You can see these during March through June, as well as October. If you miss out this month, you will be waiting for another three months. You can find Ladybugs spawning on all different kinds of flowers, so keep an eye out.

  • Bug: Ladybug
  • Location: Anywhere
  • Months: March through June, October
  • Time: 8 am – 4 pm

We only have a few more Bugs to go. Still with us? The Pill Bug is available year-round except for July and August. If you miss out this month, you need to wait until September. They can be found all day long except in the evening. You can hit rocks to make these guys scurry out of hiding.

  • Bug: Pill Bug
  • Location: Hiding under Rocks
  • Months: January through June, September through December
  • Time: 11 pm – 4 pm

Last up is the Centipede, which has the same seasonality as the Pill Bug. It is available during the hours of 4 pm through 11 pm. You can catch this the same way as the Pill Bug, which is by hitting rocks. That means if you need the Centipede or Pill Bug, you can go around hitting some rocks.

  • Bug: Centipede
  • Location: Hiding under Rocks
  • Months: January through June, September through December
  • Time: 4 pm – 11 pm

That concludes all of the Fish and Bugs you need to catch for June. Stay tuned to our site because we will be posting a list of July bugs and fish in Animal Crossing New Horizons in the near future.
