Where to Find Silicon and Magnesium in Planet Crafter

Silicon and magnesium should be relatively easy elements to find in the starting area. They are scattered with the rest of the starting elements, including cobalt, ice, iron, and titanium.

Silicon is a dark glossy rock and should be easy to spot when you come across it. Magnesium seems to be slightly rarer but is even easier to spot. It sticks out of the ground like the letter “V” with one short side and one long side.

You will need both silicon and magnesium for the starter microchips, including the construction, deconstruction, and torch chips. These chips will grant you the ability to start constructing buildings and more. Screens will also require silicon and magnesium, so it’s good to pick those elements up whenever you come across them.
