Are you wondering how to change the race length in F1 2021? There’s no question that racing through some of the world’s most historic tracks, like the ‘Monza’ in Italy or ‘Marina Bay’ in Singapore, are some of the most exciting experiences in F1 2021. However, as glorious as they are, Formula 1 races can also tend to be rather long, and so finding the easiest way to shorten races (when playing offline) is essential.
To help you learn how to change the length of a race in F1 2021, we’ve come up with the following breakdown on how to properly adjust these settings within the game.
How to Change the Race Length in F1 2021
Believe it or not, you can actually change race lengths in F1 2021 quite easily, but it will depend on which game mode you’re using. The process is slightly different for Career Mode and Grand Prix Events.
Career Mode
You can adjust the length of the race and the length of practices and qualifying sessions at the main menu by selecting the top-right square on the hub. The main race length settings will have three options: ‘Short,’ ‘Medium,’ or ‘Long.’ Short races will be five laps, Medium races will be 25% of the traditional amount of laps, and Long races are the full amount.
Grand Prix Events
Grand Prix Events are very similar to Career Mode in that you can still set the race length to short, medium, and long, but you’ll need to go to the ‘Weekend Structure’ screen to do so.
All in all, most methods for changing the length of the race in F1 2021 are fairly straightforward and relatively similar in principle. You just need to be sure that you are changing these settings before the race weekend because you won’t be able to change anything once you’re in the actual event.
