Every viewing angle in F1 22 caters to a particular sort of driver

If you’ve played previous versions of the popular Formula 1 racing game, or any racing game for that matter, then you probably have a favorite camera angle. In this guide, we’re going to take a closer look at how to change the camera angle in F1 22.

How to Change the Camera Angle in F1 22

Much like any other game, every camera angle in F1 22 provides a different vantage point, each with varying pros and cons. For example, looking at the track from the cockpit offers the most realistic view, but not as much visibility. Whereas the nose camera allows you to plan and prepare for your next move well in advance, but it’s not nearly as intuitive.

Since every camera angle is different, you will need to know how to alter this setting to your liking in F1 22.

To do this you must:

  1. Enter the “Pause” menu by either pressing the “Menu” button (for Xbox) or the “Options” button (for PlayStation).
  2. Scroll through the options until you find where it says “Camera”.
  3. Select the best camera angle that suits your style of driving.

In total, there are eight different camera angles to choose from, including:

  • Wing
  • Nose
  • Nose (alt)
  • Cockpit
  • TV Pod (default)
  • TV Pod Offset
  • Near Chase
  • Far Chase

The Nose and Cockpit options lock on to what’s right in front of you, while the TV Pod and TV Pod Offset will only display what’s directly in front of the vehicle. Near and Far Chase will offer a much wider viewing angle, so, these are typically the better options, but it all comes down to personal preference. So, you might have to play around with each a little bit before you decide.
