How to get Podium Pass XP in F1 2021
Much like “battle passes” in other games (like PGA Tour 2K21), Podium Pass is a system where in-game cosmetic items can be purchased or awarded through achieving high in-game performance.
There are 30 tiers within F1 2021’s Podium Pass, and after competing in a race, you’ll receive XP, which will help you advance through the tiers. You can get XP for most things you do in the game, but the rewards vary depending on how well you do and the game mode you choose to play.
With that being said, the two best ways to earn XP in F1 2021 are:
Daily and Series Challenges
Daily challenges are generally fairly simple, with the racer simply needing to compete at a particular track or win a race with a certain driver. Although, Series challenges can be a little more difficult, as they take longer to complete, and they’re also a lot more challenging. They will typically range from achieving a particular time in a time trial race or holding the 1st place position in a race for a certain period of time.
Racing in Game Modes
You can also earn XP through racing in one of F1’s various game modes, with one of the most effective modes being “Braking Point.” Any game mode you play will most likely earn you XP, but the rewards vary quite heavily depending on how and where you play.
For example, finishing a 3-lap Grand Prix may only get you 245 XP, but winning an online ranked race can net you up to 1400 XP. Also, in MyTeam career mode, you can earn 100 XP per lap in any session (plus bonuses based on results), so even if you simply play through the practice programs, qualify, and compete in the race, you should see those XP numbers climb in no time.
