Where to Find Erdtree’s Favor 2 in Elden Ring

In Elden Ring, the Erdtree is both a figure of worship for the people of Lands Between and a literal gigantic magical tree. A blessing from the Erdtree, bestowed by people who rub shoulders with it like the late Queen Marika, is quite the coveted item, both enhancing your capabilities and giving you some major bragging ammo for your friends. But why stop at a regular blessing when you can get a double blessing? Here’s where to find Erdtree’s Favor 2 in Elden Ring.

The Erdtree’s Favor is a talisman you can obtain in Elden Ring that, when equipped, raises your maximum HP, stamina capacity, and maximum equip load. Having one equipped is pretty much an all-around benefit, but it doesn’t stop there. In addition to the regular Erdtree’s Favor, there are also +1 and +2 versions that provide the same effects but multiplied. The level 2 Erdtree’s Favor boosts your max HP by 4%, your stamina capacity by 9.6%, and your maximum equip load by 8%. Of course, since this is such a potent item, you can only get it in the last leg of the game.

To find Erdtree’s Favor 2 in Elden Ring

  1. Progress the game until Leyndell becomes Leyndell, Ashen Capital.
  2. Fast travel to the Forbidden Lands Site of Grace and take the elevator back into the city.
  3. Make your way to the wooden elevator to reach a courtyard with a large root sticking out of the ground, where the Erdtree’s Favor 2 is.

Technically, the Erdtree’s Favor 2 is found in Leyndell, the Royal Capitol. However, you won’t find it if you look in the regular capital. Rather, you need to progress the game’s main story far enough to make Leyndell switch to its alternate version. This means going to the Mountaintops of the Giants, killing the Fire Giant, burning the Erdtree with the Forge of the Giants, and completing Crumbling Farum Azula. Do all of that, and Leyndell will become Leyndell, Ashen Capital.

Once the city is all ashy, fast travel to the Forbidden Lands Site of Grace. It’s the one between Leyndell and the Grand Lift of Rold. From there, turn back and take the elevator that leads back into the city. Make your way across the bridge, past a few assorted soldiers, until you eventually reach a staircase going down, which in turn leads to a wooden elevator. Take that elevator, and you’ll find yourself in an ash-covered courtyard, at the far end of which is a giant root jutting out of the ground.

Now, good news and bad news: the bad news is that this root is guarded by three Lesser Ulcerated Tree Spirits. Yes, three. At the same time. So that’s definitely an annoying fight waiting to happen. The good news is that you don’t actually have to beat them to swipe the Erdtree’s Favor. If you’re sneaky, you can actually make your way across the far left side of the courtyard to reach the Erdtree’s Favor without drawing aggro. Or, if you don’t care, you can just run right past them, grab the Erdtree’s Favor, and either run away or let them kill you. Either’s fine!
