Bungie is holding a Destiny 2 showcase event tomorrow which should tell us more about the upcoming DLC, as well as Season 15. We have everything you need to know about the showcase here, including how to watch it, when it starts, and some rumors about just what type of content we can expect.

How to Watch the Destiny 2 Showcase

Bungie is going to be hosting the Destiny 2 showcase event on its official Twitch channel

It’s likely that various streamers and personalities will be hosting watch-alongs, but Bungie’s Twitch channel is the only place you can catch the official stream.

When does the Destiny 2 Showcase Start?

The official Destiny 2 showcase starts on August 24, at 9 am PT. That translates to an official start time of 5 pm BST, 12 pm ET, and 6 pm CEST.

There’s also a pre-show event going live one hour before the main show, broadcasting at 8 am PT.

Details on the Destiny 2 Showcase

Bungie has been pretty tight-lipped on what we can expect from the Destiny 2 showcase event, but we can make some educated guesses as to what we’re getting.

Without a doubt, we’ll be getting more information on Season 15, named Season of the Lost, as well as the upcoming Witch Queen DLC.

Witch Queen is Destiny 2’s last DLC and will likely transition the state of the Destiny universe into the start of Destiny 3, so it’s possible we’ll even get some hints towards what we can expect from the franchise’s next entry.

Rumors and Leaks

The Destiny 2 showcase event is being marketed as a celebration of all things Destiny rather than a press-release style of event. So, it’s possible we’ll also see Destiny-related media that doesn’t pertain to the games.

With the success of The Witcher’s TV show on Netflix, it’s not out of the realm of possibility that we get some sort of Destiny show, although that’s entirely conjecture. It’s also likely that we’ll get more information on a Halo collaboration for Bungie’s 30th anniversary.

Now, there have been leaks for The Witch Queen thanks to data miners, but these contain massive story spoilers so we’re not going to cover it here. All of the leaked information is contained in this PasteBin link, but explore it at your own peril.
