Destiny 2’s Festival of the Lost 2022 armor sets have been datamined. Thanks to Twitter user HeySoraPark, we get a sneak peek at what these new mech-inspired armor sets are going to look like. The images were pulled from Destiny 2‘s API, so you can expect the armor sets to look a bit more polished once they’re launched in-game.
Destiny 2 Festival of the Lost 2022 Armor Sets
Bungie confirmed that the Destiny 2 Festival of the Lost 2022 armor sets would be mech-based back in April. It confirmed that just like the previous year, monsters had lost the fan vote. This time, however, it was mech-inspired armor that sent them back to the drawing board.
Since then, we had seen nothing of the new mech armor beyond some concept art. That is until Bungie added the armor models to the API, and they were subsequently leaked.
These models, datamined by HeySoraPark on Twitter, are unshaded. In other words, it’s purely the geometry of the armor pieces rather than a complete set of gear. So, take how these look with a little bit of salt, they’re unfinished. So unfinished, in fact, that despite being in the Destiny 2 API, you can’t even view these sets on Light.gg yet.
HeySoraPark has also datamined two of the new Festival of the Lost Sparrows, as well as what looks like a list of potential seasonal challenges.
Destiny 2’s Festival of the Lost returns to the game on the 18th of October. So, we’ll know how each armor set looks when finalized then.
