There’s absolutely no doubt that Ironmace’s latest new title, Dark and Darker has been a hit with fans, as its PvPvE gameplay has struck a chord with fans hungry for what it has to offer. It’s a unique little title, that really seems to be filling a space that players have been waiting to see filled. But although players want to jump in and play Dark and Darker sooner rather than later, it’s still a game with a ways to go development-wise.
Have no fear though, as there will be times when the general public is invited to playtest the game and allow its developers to see what still needs some ironing out, before a full release. So, let’s take a look at Dark and Darker’s roadmap of all upcoming features and when to play!
Dark and Darker Roadmap: All Upcoming Features
For those looking to dive head-first into what Dark and Darker has to offer, it’s going to be a bit of a wait, as the devs have just wrapped a large playtest for the game that took place over Steam’s Next Fest event. The playtest saw an astounding turnout of nearly 2 million players worldwide.
This playtest was a huge milestone for the game because it not only showed just how players are excited about the title, but it gave the devs a really good idea of what things need to be tweaked ahead of the game’s next playtest.
Unfortunately, there currently is no roadmap laid out for the game as of yet. So players interested in jumping in are going to have to wait for word from Ironmace as to when they’ll be allowing more players to join in on the fun. There are two ways to be in the know as to when the game’s playable next.
The best way is to head to the game’s Steam page and select the”Follow” button to follow the game for new announcements. An alternative would be to join the official Discord server and get announcements that way. The team did state on Discord that a build schedule is in the works too.
