How to tame your Dragon?

Dragons have always been a big fun part of Harry Potter lore. Everyone loves dragons, whether it’s just learning about their histories, taming them, or fighting them. In some instances perhaps running away from them. Whatever you like about dragons, many hope they can interact with them in Hogwards Legacy. While there are indeed dragons in the game, the level of interaction might be disappointing for many. Specifically, let’s talk about if you can tame dragons in Hogwarts Legacy.

Can you Tame Dragons in Hogwarts Legacy?

It’s a pretty sad thing to report that not only can you not tame dragons in Hogwarts Legacy.. but you can barely interact with them at all. There are a few side missions involving dragons and at least one boss battle with a dragon. However, that’s about all you can do with dragons at all in the game.

So not only is it not possible to tame, ride, or train a dragon, but the game doesn’t even really allow you the chance to attempt such things. Whatever chances you will get to see a dragon in the game are probably quite brief.

While the game touts being such an open-world fantasy fulfilling experience, at least being unable to tame or ride a dragon is likely within reason of the Wizarding World itself. Dragons are considered so extremely dangerous that even the most “tamed” or really just subdued dragons are covered in chains and usually held down with some spells to keep them docile for only a limited amount of time. Almost everything we know about dragons in Harry Potter comes from book four: The Goblet of Fire if you want a refresher.
