Rumor has it that you can skip the Destiny 2 Lightfall campaign. It’s been a topic of debate recently, especially as the DLC’s drop date is fast approaching. None of us want a repeat of the Beyond Light grind, and it seems Bungie doesn’t, either.
Yes, you can indeed skip the Destiny 2 Lightfall campaign, but there are two massive caveats with that. One of them isn’t so bad, but you might not be fond of the other.

Can You Skip the Campaign in Destiny 2 Lightfall?
Yes, you can skip the campaign in Destiny 2 Lightfall. Once you finish the campaign on one character, you will have the option to skip it on your alternatives. So, you will have to play through it once – but you won’t have to go through the same grind you did back when Beyond Light launched. At least, you won’t have to suffer that for a price.
Bungie has decided to offer players the ability to skip the campaign, but you have to pay for the service. This is in line with other MMOs, many of which offer similar “boosting” services for a fee.
This isn’t anything egregiously new or outrageous for Bungie and Destiny. Not only is it an industry standard practice, but Bungie has actually offered character boosts for a while now as a way to quickly level up new Guardians.
Bungie announced the campaign in a TWAB on the 16th of February as an extension to this pre-existing “boosted” system. We don’t know anything about how much the skip will cost, but we can expect it to be around $10 or so.
So, if you’re willing to shell out $20, you can skip the campaign grind on both your alts. If you’re not willing to open your wallet, then you’re in for a rough time.
