The Haunting of Verdansk event is now active in Call of Duty Warzone. Rewards are given out based on finding the Call of Duty Warzone Trick or Treat locations around Verdansk. If you’re trying to complete all the areas as soon as possible, we got some tips for you. Here’s everything you need to know to get this done quickly.
First off, we recommend loading into Plunder mode, as the ability to respawn over and over again will be much quicker than traditional Warzone. There are sixteen Trick or Treat locations in total, and collecting all of them unlocks the Pumpkin Punisher reward. Fans of the Grau 5.56 may want to get their hands on this blueprint.

Here’s a complete list of the Warzone Trick or Treat locations:
- Military Base
- Boneyard
- Dam
- Downtown
- Storage Town
- Hospital
- Airport
- Quarry
- Port
- Stadium
- Gulag
- Lumberyard
- TV Station
- Superstore
- Hills
- Train
All you need to do is land in the zones above and search through as many crates as possible. Each container has a small percent chance to drop the Trick or Treat item for the event. Luckily, it’s easy to keep track of your progress. Pull up your map and look on the left-hand side. You should see “Trick or Treat Locations” listed there and a checkbox next to each area you’ve cleared.
Be careful because some of the crates may “trick” you and scare your pants off! The first time you see it, there’s a good chance you jump out of your chair, so get ready.
After finding the Trick or Treat item in a given area, you should try and die as fast as possible. Then, respawn and drop into a new area and proceed to look for the next item.
