The moment we’ve all been waiting for is here: Warzone’s Nuke Event. It’s the much anticipated in-game event that will likely show the complete devastation of Verdansk, Warzone’s first battle royale map. The first part of the event is officially live, as of 3:00 PM EST on April 21. However, not everyone can view the event right now due to a Warzone Server Queue for the Nuke Event. Here’s what you need to know.
Call of Duty Warzone Server Queue for Nuke Event
Players attempting to watch the Nuke Event live in Call of Duty Warzone see a Server Queue message. The error is preventing people from logging in to view the Nuke Event. For now, all you can do is wait for the queue to die down and the servers to handle more players.
Update: April 22, 3:30 PM EST – Activision is actively investigating the long wait times in the server queue for Warzone.
According to Activision, players receive a notification in the lobby when it’s time for the event to go live. Do not restart your game because that will put you back in the server queue, which will cause you to miss the event in real-time.
The new playlist is officially live, called The Destruction of Verdansk Part 1. It is a multi-part event, so stay tuned for more to come. Significant parts of the map are crossed out, and the zone is smaller than normal. We won’t spoil anything for you, though.
If you’re desperate to watch the Nuke Event live, you may want to tune into popular Warzone streamers on Twitch like NICKMERCS, Cloakzy, or TimTheTatman. We’ll keep you posted if we get any official word from Activision on the matter.
