Call of Duty Modern Warfare Multiplayer Free-to-play Weekend Starts June 12

Yesterday we saw the release of Season 4 for Call of Duty Modern Warfare and Warzone. The new update brought lots of new changes, including some new weapons, a new Battle Pass, and new operators. In celebration of the launch, Call of Duty Modern Warfare’s Multiplayer mode will be free to play this weekend for all Warzone player.

Modern Warfare Multiplayer Free-to-play Weekend

This weekend from June 12 at 1:00 PM EST to June 15, specific Multiplayer playlists will be entirely free to play. To date, this is the largest pool of maps ever features in a free-to-play weekend. Players can choose from five 6v6 Multiplayer modes, including Hardhat, Shipment, Rust, Shoot House, and Zhokov Scrapyard.

Players can also hop into seven different Gunfight maps on a different playlist. Gunfight includes a variety of maps like Trench and Aisle 9. It is playable for any Call of Duty Warzone players who do not already own Modern Warfare.

Modern Warfare’s Multiplayer modes are a great way to power level some weapons. Grinding them out in Warzone and Plunder can be a tedious task, so this is a nice alternative. Again, make sure to take advantage of this free-to-play weekend if you don’t already own Modern Warfare. The event will be live from today, June 12 through Monday, June 15.
