- Smelterville Slugger (Melee) – This barbed wire bat isn’t just one of the coolest melee weapons in Saints Row but one of the most effective as well. Its brutal damage output alone makes it an easy pick, but just wait until you unlock the Smelterville Slugger’s signature ability. You’ll be flinging people into the air in no time!
- KA-1 Kobra (Pistol) – Despite being the first gun you receive in Saints Row, the KA-1 Kobra remains the best option when it comes to pistols. Above all else, it has fast reloads and quick aiming, making it an incredibly reliable backup. Its signature ability is also quite useful as a headshot will automatically refill the magazine.
- TEK Z-10 (SMG) – The TEK Z-10 is easily the most accurate SMG in the game, making it perfect for clearing out large groups in close-quarters combat. You can also upgrade its power, and use its signature ability to bleed and stun enemies.
- AR-55 Burst (Rifle) – An incredibly accurate weapon that’s good for any situation. Its deadly bursts ensure dominance in close-range combat but it can still be used comfortably from a distance as well. Making it one of the most reliable weapons in the game.
- MDI-50 Tac (Shotgun) – Shotguns can generally be pretty hit or miss, but the MDI-50 Tac is easily one of the most effective shotguns in Saints Row simply due to its fast fire rate. In fact, you can drop enemies at a high clip in just one or two headshots.
- AT Rocket Launcher (Big Gun) – This monster is loaded up with four rockets and can take out most vehicles in one or two hits. Its upgrades also allow you to control a rocket’s flight, making it one of the deadliest big guns in the game.
- TOGO-13 Sniper Rifle (Special Weapon) – This last one is more of a personal preference, but the TOGO-13 is undoubtedly one of the best sniper rifles in Saints Row. It also pairs well with the AR-55 Burst Rifle allowing you to cover long and short distances with effectiveness. Plus, its signature ability gives you more ammo when you land headshots, which is always handy.
