Best Ways to Beat a Tormentor in Destiny 2 Lightfall
Unfortunately, you will face a Tormentor right at the starting parts of the game. They are Witness’ minions and can kill your character easily. A Tormentor may seem big and scary, but every monster has a weak point.

Aim for Their Weak Spots
You will notice various light yellow glowing parts on a Tormentor’s body. These are their armors, which need some breaking. You can’t damage a Tormentor without breaking their armor. So aim your shots at the yellow parts on its right and left shoulders and try to break them.
Once you manage to break the armor, continue to deal damage. Remember to keep dodging the Tormentor’s attacks, because it can one-shot you. Keep your distance and aim for its chest area, which is their weak point.
Watch Out For Their Ground Pound Attack
There is a trick to dodge attacks from the Tormentor. When they jump in the air, they is going to use the Ground Pound attack, which will kill you. So jump instantly and move away from the attack. Tormentors also charge at you at a fast pace. When they start charging, they is going to use the Void Grasp attack. Be alert and move away quickly.
