Rumbleverse may seem like merely a huge beat ’em up mosh pit, but there is a real element of strategy that goes into the ferocious fisticuffs. You can’t just launch into the city and expect to merely punch your way through every situation. Some require dolphin dives, others require a flying kick. If you don’t go into the match with the right mindset, you will get smacked down again and again. Here is the best tricks to win in Rumbleverse.
Best tricks in Rumbleverse
Land alone
When everyone launches into the ring, you can see all of your peers alongside you. Knowing where everyone is a great tool. Now I know the spirit of the game is to knock out as many opponents as you can, but health is precious in the ring, and if you start beef with someone off-the-bat, you’ll be knocked down a few pegs.
Try to make sure you land alone to increase your chance of survival by being able to pick up and hog all of the crates. Your best bet is to land somewhere on the peripherals of the ring, as those goodies won’t be available for long!
Punch hard, study harder
Along your travels, you will see many books in various colours all littered around. It may seem tempting to ignore the free knowledge and punch the closest punter in the face, but for your own sake, just pick up the damn book.
Those books have wrestling techniques that can be used to dominate your opponents. Upon reading the book, press ‘Q’ or ‘E’ to assign the new skill to a key. You can have up to two skills available to you at a time, any other techniques you pick up will either have to be discarded or will have to replace a skill you already have.
The skills can and should be used as a stand in for regular fighting. They do not have a cool down and will deliver massive damage. Oh, and the best thing is, they are unblockable.
So gather as many books as you can and unleash merry hell upon your opponents.
Perk up a little
As you deliver damage, you will be randomly rewarded with a perk from a list of 15. The game only gives you a small notification that may be missed in the heat of battle, so make sure to hit the escape button to view your active perks on the right. Use these perks consciously, to their advantage. It may be the reason you knock out that final opponent.
Due to being a passive process and a passive skill, all you need to worry about is punching enough people around. Having two techniques, as per the tip above, will mean you can fill up that metre in no time and be swimming in perks.

Pick your battles
It may seem counter-intuitive, but you cannot afford to rush into battle and beat up anyone you see. Health is a rare commodity, and every ounce counts. This is especially obvious late game, where chicken is scarce and other players all have their supers active, ready to deal staggering damage in a single power move.
Throughout the match, stock up on chicken and don’t assault everyone you see. To survive the ring, you must be able to tussle with those last opponents with enough health to backup your punches. If you ever feel at the end of your tether, block until they run out of steam, then dash and dodge away.
Do try to get some eliminations in, a victory with one elimination is hardly a well-fought victory, right?
Consume everything in your path
The game does a great job at throwing all sorts of boosters and drinks and food in your path. It would be a shame to waste such a great array of performing-boosting goodness. Unless there is an opponent racing towards you at great speed, pick up those drinks and slurp them up. The boost in health, speed, and damage will serve you greatly when your facing off against the last remaining stragglers.
If you don’t consume it, then you’re only giving it to your enemy.
There you have it, keep these tricks in mind and you’ll have hardly anything to worry about in the big ring. Keep your eyes on Gamer Journalist for more gaming ad Rumbleverse content.
