Traps are some of the biggest facets of Meet Your Maker’s gameplay. If you’re looking for the most efficient traps in Meet Your Maker but aren’t sure which ones to go with, then just refer to the list below for all of the deadliest, nastiest traps in Meet Your Maker!

Best Traps in Meet Your Maker

There isn’t a massive number of traps in Meet Your Maker, but there are enough to feel overwhelmed by when you’re trying to decide on the perfect one to use. If you want to build a trap that eliminates opponents with deadly efficiency and zero mercy, then just use any of these traps:

Death Piston

Most of the traps in this game have wicked names, but honestly, what could possibly be cooler than “Death Piston”? Comically cool name aside, the Death Piston is a force to be reckoned with in Meet Your Maker.

This ingenious trap triggers continuously until it is destroyed, meaning it will constantly bombard enemies with barrages of attacks as soon as it’s triggered. It won’t stop attacking until the enemy manages to disable it, but they’ll have to survive its attacks long enough to actually do that! This trap literally destroys everything it touches; you need to have this trap in your arsenal (if you don’t already)!

Bomb Ejector

The Bomb Ejector in Meet Your Maker does exactly what you think it does. It ejects bombs.

If that wasn’t cool enough, the Bomb Ejector’s bombs are capable of bouncing and rolling formidable distances, which increases its damage radius. If you want to make sure your enemies don’t escape before you have the chance to kill them, then the Bomb Ejector is the trap you’ve been looking for!

Plasma Sentry

Anything with “plasma” in its name has to be good, and this trap in Meet Your Maker definitely exceeds all expectations. If you have this trap in your collection, then you’re practically untouchable.

The Plasma Sentry in Meet Your Maker is known especially for two things: its ability to control space and its ability to fire unfathomably deadly projectiles. Its projectiles are fired in random directions and are impossible to predict; they also create deadly pulses that linger long after they’ve detonated.

If you want a trap that will not only annoy the crap out of your enemies, but also kill them in wickedly destructive and epic ways, then you need the Plasma Sentry!

Worst Traps in Meet Your Maker

There aren’t really any especially bad traps in Meet Your Maker, since they’re all capable of getting the job done, but there are a few that aren’t really worth prioritizing. If you’re trying to kill efficiently and effectively in Meet Your Maker, then you probably shouldn’t use any of these traps:

Impaler

The Impaler may have an unfairly cool name, but that doesn’t necessarily mean it’s worth investing in. While other traps in this game can erect massive walls of fire, shoot unfathomably destructive bombs, and literally control space itself, the Impaler just shoots spikes in a single direction.

The name certainly corresponds with its ability, but it’s still a pretty disappointingly anticlimactic trap. It’s easy for Raiders to avoid, inefficient, and frankly, just not very cool looking.

Boltshot

The Boltshot, like the Bomb Ejector, is pretty self-explanatory; it shoots bolts. Unlike the Bomb Ejector, however, this trap is hardly worth the space it takes up when placed.

Similar to the Impaler, this trap shoots its projectiles in a singular, easy-to-dodge direction. It also shoots bolts instead of spikes, which are arguably even less cool than spikes. If you want a trap that’ll shock your enemies and knock them flat on their backs, then you definitely don’t want to include the Bolshot in your trap collection.
