The best skills to use in Survivor.io
Skills are quite interesting in Surivor.io. This is because when collecting enough crystals on the ground to level up, you will get to pick from 3 different skills. This can be reset once per battle with the right talents, but for the most part this will be an RNG dependent endeavor.
However, because of this, it is important that players understand how these skills work. First, all skills can be leveled up to 5 stars. Each time a player levels the skill, it will become more powerful and gain 1 star. But, there is a hidden ability to unlock in each skill called Evo. This is unlocked by leveling the skill up to 5 stars and then earning the abilities “partner” skill. The next time a player levels up, they will be able to pick the Evo skill, which will combine and become much more powerful.
Therefore, the more Evo skills a player has, the more powerful they will be against the hordes of enemies. Generally speaking however, skills that deal a lot of damage quickly are preferred. Especially over a wide area.
This means skills such as Lightning, Durian, Soccer Ball, and Molotov cocktail can be the most destructive. In fact, if a player gets an Evo Lightning, Durian, Soccer Ball, and Molotov Cocktail, they may not even need to move, and can simply stand still and watch as the hordes fall helplessly around them.
Still, as this game rewards careful movement and planning on top of skills, players should try experimenting with the skills and see which ones work the best for them and their individual playstyle. With practice, they will be able to defeat even the most relentless of hordes.
