High Priest Best Skill Tree Build

When playing the High Priest of the Acolyte class it’s the absolute best choice to go for a full support build. Yea I know, being a support isn’t the first thing that many of you would like to see as DPS roles are the ones that save the day with their glorious critical strikes and damage combos. However, that’s not true. Every team works as a machine and you need both tanks, DPS as well as supports to make it all work. The buffs you can provide to your teammates and especially heals are really powerful and we’ll provide you with the full skill tree build so you can see exactly what we mean.

In regards to character attributes, you should pursue boosting INT and DEX mainly with some points to VIT as you will need to have some HP to survive. INT is directly connected to many of your spells and the higher the INT the higher the spell multipliers are going to be.

For the 1st Job you’ll want to distribute your points as follows:

  • Heal (level 10) – This is your base healing spell that you can use either on yourself or on your allies and their units. Your base level, skill level, INT, and additional healing effects you and/or your healed target have active can increase the total amount healed. Furthermore, this spell can also be used for damaging Undead monsters when in clutch situations.
  • Blessing (level 10) – Strong buff for your teammates. At max level increases the target’s STR, DEX, and INT by 10 for 10 minutes. If you have enough SP, you can buff more than one teammate with Blessing and even keep them under this effect for as long as you want.
  • Angelus (level 5) – Use this buff to increase the tank’s ability to soak up damage. Angelus at level 5 increases teammate’s DEF by 70% for 6 min and 30 secs. Since the boost is percentage based it works better on units that already have a high DEF but it can be used to save some squishier friends when needed.
  • Increase Agility (level 5) – As the name states, this passive spell boosts AGI by 12 at level 5 and adds a 25% MSPD (move speed) bonus. Movespeed is vital for a High Priest as you will want to be able to avoid direct contact with the enemies and quickly get in range of the teammate you’re trying to buff or heal.
  • Kyrie Eleison (level 10) – Shield spell that at max level protects the target for 10 instances of damage. The amount of Physical Damage it soaks up equals 46% of the target’s maximum HP, meaning that this is an ideal buff for a strong tank that boosted their VIT stat.

2nd Job (Priest Skill Tree)

When it comes to the Priest skill tree this is how we distributed our points:

  • Magnificat (level 4) – Use this spell on your teammates to double their Magic Recovery Speed. On level 4 the effect lasts for 75 seconds.
  • Sanctuary (level 9) – When you use Sanctuary on level 9 you get a mighty AoE light spell that heals allies while damaging and knocking back monsters. Teammates will be healed for 900 HP per second while the enemies will receive 450 Holy Magic Damage. The spell will stop after 11 seconds or after 12 targets have been affected (friend or foe). Don’t be easy on the trigger with this one. I suggest you save it for those moments when you and your team are getting overwhelmed by enemies to reset and stand your ground.
  • Resurrection (level 4) – With a cast time of only 4 seconds on level 4, Resurrection will bring back to life any ally that has fallen. When they revive they will have 80% HP. However, remember that this spell will cost you 50SP and 1 Blue Gemstone for each revival. If you don’t have any Blue Gems on you, you won’t be able to revive your teammate. But, don’t worry as we got you covered with our guide on how to find Blue Gems.
  • Impositio Manus (level 10) – Using the max level of this spell on your allies gives them +100 to attack and increases Physical Damage done by gears by 20%. You don’t necessarily have to provide this buff to your DPS if they do not have the best damage gear in the team. Some DPS rely on spells for their damage so it’s totally okay to use Imposito Manus on a Tank or another support if they have larger gear damage. The effects of this skill last for 5 minutes.
  • Aspersio (Level 2) – When you cast this spell on an allied hero their attack becomes Holy for 5 minutes. This means that they get increased overall damage and have extra 100 fixed damage vs Undead and Demon monsters. It works great if you are clearing Undead/Demon dungeons or fighting bosses of the same category.
  • Zen Heart (level 5) – One of the most essential passive skills for your High Priest as it increases your SP recovery (15 +1% x Max SP) and it increases restoring effects of any SP recovery items by 125%. This skill directly influences how many spells you can use in combat and how often. Level 5/10 is fairly enough from my experience but if you want to spam more spells, increasing the level of this spell will enable you to do that.
  • Safety Wall (level 1) – Taking just level 1 of Safety Wall allows you to have this extra spell that prevents 1 instance of any incoming melee Physical Damage. The wall won’t last for long but even at level 1 it can help in some clutch situations and save a teammate.
  • Gloria (level 5) – When cast, Gloria grants all your teammates +30 LUK for 60 seconds. As LUK increases the chances of critical hits, their damage, and the chance of dodge, you can give it to either DPS or Tank in your fights.

3rd Job (High Priest Skill Tree)

We have finally come to the skill tree of our main focus – the High Priest. Follow our guide below to pick the right skills and become a really strong High Priest support.

  • Assumptio (level 10) – Use this spell for anyone heavily attacked by enemy monsters. It boosts allies’ DEF and MDEF by 100% for 5 minutes. This is one of the strongest defense spells in your arsenal, so don’t be afraid to use it instinctively when you see an ally has been focused down.
  • Meditatio (level 10) – Passive skill that increases your SP regen by 30%, max SP by 10%, and boosts the amount you heal with the Heal spell by 20%. Another key spell for your High Priest that synergizes greatly with Zen Heart.
  • Suffragium (level 3) – You can reduce the cast time of your allies by 45% for 10 seconds with Suffragium. It is ideal to help your wizard friends or even some other Acolyte-type characters.
  • Mana Recharge (level 4) – Another very valuable passive spell for High Priest. At level 4 it permanently decreases the SP cost of all skills by 16%. If you want to push it to the max, 20% decrease in SP cost, take level 5. I would suggest you never miss out on leveling up this skill.
