How to Get Homunculus in Ragnarok Origin?

To summon a Homunculus you would first need to be an Alchemist and you will be using a combination of spellcasting and potion crafting to get one of these amazing pets. Here’s the shopping list for things you need in order to get yourself a Homunculus:

  • Potion Creation Guide (at Gever Al Sharp)
  • Medicine Bowl (at Gever Al Sharp)
  • Seed of Life (at Al de Baran Material Seller)
  • Morning Dew of Yggdrasil (at Al de Baran Material Seller)
  • Glass Tube (at Al de Baran Material Seller)

These items alongside Bioethics Platinum skills and Pharmacy skills will help you create an Embryo, a prerequisite for Homunculus.

Making the Embryo

In order to make an Embryo you first need to use the skill Prepare Potion. Then use your Pharmacy skill to open all potions you can create and select “Embryo” from the list. After you do this, use the Call Homunculus skill and you’ll get yourself a Homunculus pet.

There are 4 types of Homunculus, and when you summon one for yourself you will get one of those at random. The Homunculi are Leaf, Amistre, Miya, Pilir, and Vanilmirs. Each one of them has a unique set of skills that can help you in battle.

Note: If you don’t wish to go through all this struggle you can try buying Embryo from other Alchemists.

Taking Care of Homunculus

Homunculus is like a real-life pet and you will need to take care of him if you wish to keep him alive and make him evolve. Feeding Homunculus regularly will raise his Intimacy level with you, and when Intimacy reaches “Loyal” he can evolve to the next stage (for this you will also need a Stone of Sage) at which he is more powerful.

If you are in combat often and forget to regularly feed Homunculus pay attention to the emotes he is showing you, as he will display when he is hungry. If you let him starve for too long he will die and you will have to go through the whole process of summoning a new Homunculus.
