It’s time to return to the World of Warcraft, as the ninth expansion, entitled “Dragonflight,” is out now! As such, some players are desperate to learn the best course to take if they want to build a Guardian Druid. So, let’s explore the various ability options for anyone looking to build the most efficient Druid. In this piece, we’ll break down what abilities I would choose in terms of single-target, multi-target, and a balance between the two. So, let’s not waste any more time and jump right into it with a single-target breakdown.
Best Guardian Druid Talent Build — Single-Target
For starters, I personally would prioritize having more health at the start. I know there are enemies out there who I do *not* want to play with, so my first step would be picking either Frenzied Regeneration or Rejuvenation, which both play toward that desire. If you want to prioritize inflicting damage first, that’s cool; just pick Starfire or Rake, but I would personally stick with Starfire.
Here are some other single-target abilities I would prioritize:
- Improved Barkskin
- Starsurge
- Moonkin Form
- Rip
- Maim
- Killer Instinct
- Feline Swiftness
- Astral Influence
- Primal Fury
- Matted Fur
- Improved Rejuvenation
Best Guardian Druid Talent Build — Multi-Target
If you’re going for a multi-target build, you probably want to prioritize abilities that will target multiple enemies at once, as basic as that might sound. Also, any support abilities that will let you heal anyone you’re currently raiding with — especially if you’re working with a team as opposed to independently.
Here are some other multi-target abilities I would prioritize:
- Rejuvenation
- Starfire
- Thrash
- Swiftmend
- Swipe
- Remove Corruption
- Wild Charge
- Typhoon
- Stampeding Roar
- Wild Growth
- Protector of the Pack
Best Guardian Druid Talent Build — Balanced
If you’d like to stick to a balanced list of abilities, you’d likely want to try and pick skills that would be used in both of the above builds. In addition, nabbing Stampeding Roar (and its upgrade) as well as Sunfire and its improved version wouldn’t hurt. Incapacitating Roar paired with Mighty Bash could also suffice when building a balanced Druid build.
I hope that helped, but if you need more information about World of Warcraft: Dragonflight, why not check out more of the guides we’ve made on this latest expansion? And remember to make Gamer Journalist your one stop for all things entertainment!
