There are a variety of cultures in the game. From the Vikings to the Mongolians, there is a favorite culture for each individual. However, there is a problem while choosing them. Each culture features their own characteristics and offers some perks. Amongst so many cultures and so many perks, it becomes increasingly difficult for new users to decide which culture is the best. So here is a quick guide to help you clear your mind and think differently.

Best Culture in Mount & Blade II: Bannerlord

It’s next to impossible to choose one culture and name it the best one in the game. As we mentioned, each culture has its own advantages and disadvantages. It’s on you to decide which culture suits your play style the best. Here is a list describing their perks to help you decide better.

  • Vlandians – Soldiers get 20% more battle experience
  • Sturgians – Snow speed penalty reduced by 20%
  • Empire – City projects, wall repair, and siege preparation is 20% faster
  • Aseri – Get Caravans for 30% cheaper and receive 10% less trade penalty
  • Khuzaits – Horsemen on the campaign map move 10% faster
  • Battanians – Forest speed penalty reduced by 10%

Read about each culture and imagine if that’s how you would like to play Mount & Blade II Bannerlord. For example, if you like to trade and build a huge empire out of it, the Aseri culture is good for you. They get discounts on caravans and incur only 90% of the total trade penalty. However, if you want to have a movement speed bonus in the forest, Battanians is your best bet. They will allow you to hunt people down in the forest easily.
