How to Heal in Mount & Blade II: Bannerlord

You will face injuries in wars which require time to heal. Unfortunately, you cannot restore health quickly in the game and you will have to adjust accordingly. If you don’t heal properly, you will start the next battle with a smaller health pool.

While there are no magic potions and items to heal you up, there is a way to heal faster. Head over to the bottom right of your screen to a heart-shaped icon. Hover over the icon to see the recovery rate of your character. The icon represents the Medicine skill level of you and your army in Mount & Blade II Bannerlord. It’s best to hire a person who has high medicine stats to become the fletcher.

Your location also affects the healing rate. We recommend being in a in a city or a village to recover fast. Head to a settlement and rest till the army looks in good shape again. If you travel, camp around in the jungle and war constantly, you will risk a loss. So patience is the key in this aspect of the game.
