This class is somewhere in the middle of the list when compared to other DPS heroes but if you utilize him right, Arcane Mage can bring a lot of useful skills to battle. Best Talent Builds for Arcane Mage

When it comes to talents for Arcane Mage, you need to worry about two things: Mage Talent Tree and Arcane Talent Tree.

Mage Talent Tree

For a solid Mage talent tree, we recommend getting Overflowing Energy, Rune of Power, Tome of Rhonin, Tome of Antonidas, Shifting Power, and Temporal Warp. This combination is providing you with a great damage increase and we believe it should be included in most talent builds. The biggest strength comes from the ability to use two Time Warp buffs at the same time with the help of Temporal Warp. The haste you give yourself and your allies in this case is priceless.

When it comes to defense, get Arcane Warding and Winter’s Protection which allows you to save yourself from death in dangerous raids with the smaller Ice Block cooldown. Cryo-Freeze leans on this combo perfectly with the increased healing during Ice Block. For mobility, pick up Shimmer and Displacement for those quick Blinks in and out of a fight. Arcane Talent Tree

Arcane Talent Tree will be a little bit different in that we will present two different solutions: a build for Single target damage, and the Cleave/AoE damage build.

Single target build will need to rely on mana regen and Intellect increase of Siphon Storm, and damage buffs of Harmonic Echo, and Arcane Harmony. Arcane Harmony has the potential of greatly buffing your Arcane Barrage so keep an eye on that one.

When it comes to Cleave or AoE damage build, you will benefit the most from Arcane Echo, Arcing Cleave, and Nether Tempest talents. Arcane Echo has the potential of dealing limited damage to a huge group of enemies while Arcing Cleave offers you a strong enemy-wiping option when you stack up on Arcane Charges.
