Cherry-Blossom Petals

To catch cherry-blossom petals, you will need to use your bug net. It’s sort of like catching a butterfly, but the petal will despawn if you touch it. You will need to be good at knowing the length of your bug net to catch these. Cherry-blossom petals will spawn all around your island at random.

Have a look around and see how many you can find and catch. If you are not seeing too many of these, you can try going into a building and then exiting it. This sometimes makes more petals spawn quicker which is useful because you will need a lot of them for the recipes.

How to Get Cherry-Blossom DIY Recipes

It is tedious to get all of the recipes, and there are a few different ways you can accomplish this. The first way is through balloons, but unfortunately, the spawn rates will not be great because of the Bunny Day Event.

  • Special Trick: Standing at the edge of your island waiting for balloons is a good way to farm recipes every 10-20 minutes. After sunset, you will want to switch to the other side of your island because the balloon spawns change at that time.

You can also get some recipes from bottles on your home island. They seem to be quite rare from my own experience, but other players report they have been finding them.

Another way to get recipes is by talking to all of the different villagers on your island. You might get lucky and get a cherry-blossom recipe from one of them.
