All Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty Village of Calamity Chests and Collectibles

Many fans of Dark Souls-like games have taken it upon themselves to try and beat the Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty due to its reputation for being difficult. And let’s be frank, it is one of the most challenging games out there, as you can get ripped to pieces easily even by a common Yellow Turban soldier if you don’t dodge or deflect efficiently.

Having this in mind, it’s no wonder that players want to become as strong as possible from the early game, and loot the first mission, called Village of Calamity, completely. In our guide, we’ll show you everything you need to do in order to pick up quality loot and have a strong start.

How to Find All Collectibles in the Village of Calamity Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty?

There are quite a few things to be picked up in the Village of Calamity and you can easily miss some of them if you’re not careful. Getting all of the early loot will ensure that you are at the highest possible peak of power that you can be at that moment.

Looting Houses

First of all, you would want to go to a house with half a dozen dead bodies and loot the big chest. You will find a weapon there. Then head out to the house with big boxes at the entrance that you can break. Clear that house and move onto another one across the street with a scared villager inside and you will find loot there as well. When you walk out of that house go to your right and you will see a Battle flag post. Post your flag there and pick up the loot behind the flag post.

Next, head out to the burning path between two trees. The fire will damage you a little bit but your character won’t die. As soon as you walk through the fire you will be in a secret area and you will see a big tiger. Tiger itself carries loot and if you can kill it that’s another great thing you can pick up. If you find it’s too strong for you, you can skip fighting him for now.

The Secret Area

If you decide to skip fighting the tiger, you can hug the wall as soon as you walk out of the flames and into the new area. By going against the wall you will escape the tiger’s attention, go behind the big house in the middle of the area, and climb on top of it. Once on top of the house look around you and you will see those shining loot cookies. Lower yourself from the wall and pick them up.

Lastly, climb on top of the house again, and you will find a hole in the roof. Jump in and loot the giant chest inside to get armor pants with great stats. Keep in mind that you can do all these things even if you kill the tiger first, but in that case, you just won’t have to sneak against the wall when coming into the area for the first time.

Useful tip: After you have looted everything, and the tiger is still alive, you can go on the roof of the big house with a hole in it again. Now instead of dropping down the hole in the roof, look down on the tiger and jump on its back. This attack will immediately take out half its HP and give you a huge advantage in fighting him.
