What is a Thunder Stone?

The Thunder Stone in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet is a consumable item that are used on specific sets of Pokémon. First introduced in Generation 1. The Evolution Stones are another evolution method. So, instead of capturing and levelling up Pokémon. Which is the focal point of the franchise’s games. The stones promote the Arceus style, open-world exploration. In this instalment, players must search the open world of Paldea. Locate the Stones and other rare loot that can be found across the various biomes.

The Thunder Stone is purchasable inside the city stores of:

  • West Province City, Cascarrafa
  • East Province City, Levincia
  • South Province City, Mesagoza

Thunder Stones are purchasable in these stores, alongside the evolution stones: Fire, Water and Leaf. The stones cost 3,000 Pokémon Dollars. Because of the high price, we recommend that the stones are bought as a last resort. Therfore, players should search the Paldea area first, in:

  • Levincia
  • Casseroya Lake
  • West Province (Area One)

Thunder Stone Pokémon List

Tadbulb is a Generation 9 Pokémon. This Pokemon is one of the many new additions in the Pokedex as seen in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet. Tadbulb is located in many regions of Paldea, in wetlands and on riverbanks. This Pokémon appears across all provinces.
