All Playable Characters in Garfield Lasagna Party

It's a Star-Studded Affair ...

I would be lying if I said that I am — or ever have been — a fervent reader of the Garfield comic strip. But, it has maintained a consistent presence in my periphery. It’s the kind of comic that has become a cultural icon over the decades thanks to its simple concept and familiar characters. It’s for this reason that I was flabbergasted by the fact that there are only nine main characters in Garfield. So, it makes sense then, that there wouldn’t be that many characters in Garfield Lasagna Party.

All Playable Characters in Garfield Lasagna Party

In Garfield Lasagna Party, there are only four playable characters. That makes a fair amount of sense, given how odd it would be for Jon Arbuckle or Dr. Liz Wilson to play board games with their pets. So, the character pool is pretty limited if you remove the few humans in the cast. Here’s who you can pick from:

  • Garfield
  • Nermal
  • Odie
  • Arlene

It honestly makes me wonder if we can expect any additional DLC characters for Garfield Lasagna Party. I know — I said it’d be weird if Jon or Liz were present here — but can you imagine a shrunk-down Jon having a snowball fight with Garfield and/or Odie? Or, perhaps they could turn Pooky, Garfield’s stuffed bear, into a character for the fun of it? Look — this game already doesn’t make a whole lot of sense, so let’s forgo any sense of logic and realism and bring Herman Post or Binky the Clown into the mix.

It’d even be neat to open the roster up for other comic strips. I think it’d be interesting to bring Calvin and/or Hobbes, Snoopy, or … maybe even Archie?
