Asterix and Obelix XXXL: The Ram From Hibernia is the latest and arguably most popular game in the Asterix and Obelix series. There are dozens upon dozens of Asterix and Obelix games out there (the first Asterix and Obelix game came out in 1983!), but not many of them have 3D animation and can support 4 players at a time, like Asterix and Obelix XXXL! Although this game has a multiplayer feature that supports up to 4 players at a time, you and your friends won’t be able to play as 4 different characters. Asterix and Obelix XXXL: The Ram From Hibernia introduced many new characters into the franchise, but you’re still only able to play as either Asterix or Obelix in the game (many people were hoping to be able to finally play as Dogmatix in this new game, but unfortunately, you won’t be playing as this adorable little doggy any time soon).

If you were to play Asterix and Obelix XXXL: The Ram From Hibernia with 3 other people, they’d all have to choose either Asterix or Obelix from the character selection screen. You’d think that this would get confusing while you’re playing the game, and you’d be right; hopefully, Osome Studio (Asterix and Obelix XXXL’s developers) will add a couple more playable characters to the next Asterix and Obelix game (Dogmatix!) so the multiplayer gameplay doesn’t get confusing.
