The Title Update 2, in particular, showcases three new monsters players will come across; the challenging Violet Mizutsune, the fiery Flaming Espinas, and the rare Risen Chameleos. Below is a more detailed breakdown of each monster.
- Flaming Espinas – Flaming Espinas first debuted in Monster Hunter Frontier Season 2, and was this update’s headlining monster up to this point. It’s a subspecies of Espinas that has brown and orange coloration, as opposed to its usual green and red, and is unlocked at MR10.
- Risen Chameleos – The Risen Chameleos is a rare Elder Dragon that has overcome the affliction through symbiosis and uses new forms of attack with white-hot flames. It’s an all-new variant that looks distinct from previous iterations and could form a deadly duo alongside Flaming Espinas. Other than that, not much is known about this monster other than it’s unlocked at MR110.
- Violet Mizutsune – Last but certainly not least we have Violet Mizutsune. This incredibly powerful monster is capable of unleashing multiple attacks and is expected to offer a more challenging fight compared to its pink counterpart. Particularly with its ability to throw bubbles that erupt into violet flames on impact. This new monster is unlocked at MR10.
