In God of War Ragnarök, players can traverse through the Nine Realms as Kratos and Atreus. Throughout the campaign each of these realms will be introduced to players in time. Though there are those who wish to explore, reaching locations not yet revealed by the story. In the case of the realm of Muspelheim, this can be done. If players know what to do, Muspelheim can be visited early without having to rely on the game’s story to take them there. However, fiery trials and tribulations await those who venture to Muspelheim. Should you wish to go there early, be sure to be well equipped to face the harsher challenge.
Accessing Muspelheim
As mentioned earlier, there are two ways to arrive at Muspelheim in God of War Ragnarök. The first can be easily done by simply playing the game and arriving there on time with the story, However for those who wish to explore, Muspelheim can be accessed early, so long as you know what to look for.
Without Muspelheim Seeds, there is no way to access Muspelheim early on. Fortunately, there are only two seeds to look out for, and both can be found in Svartlefheim. The first seed can be found around Modvitnir’s Rig, and the second at Dragon Beach.

Seed at Modvitnir’s Rig
The first seed can be found pretty easily, and can be acquired as soon as players find themselves at Modvitnir’s Rig. As soon as players arrive on boat, there is a wooden structure that can be climbed. Simply arrive at the top, open the chest, and the first seed of Muspelheim will be in player’s inventory.
Seed at Dragon Beach
This seed will be more harder to acquire, as there is a requirement to get to the seed. The Draupnir Spear must be acquired, which can be done by completing Act Three of the campaign. With spear in hand, Kratos can climb a chain found at Dragon Beach, and use the spear to connect a bridge together. From then, it’s as simple as finding the chest and opening it. With that, the second and final seed is acquired.
