High on Life is an adventure game where you encounter numerous aliens, use talking weapons, and discover new planets. Yeah, you read that right, you can watch full movies in High on Life either alone or with fellow aliens.

Here’s a quick overview of which films can be seen in the game and where.

Things You Should Know Before Watching In-game Movies

There are a couple of things worth noting before we embark on the movies themselves. First, you will see some nudity in certain movies so bear that in mind if you are going to play the game and watch them.

Also, some movies are unlocked as the game story progresses, so make sure you have completed the game campaign before you wish to access all four movies.

And in the end, once you’ve finished watching these there are 20 unique animated shorts created by Justin Roiland that you can watch either on your home TV or on the screens across the different areas in High on Life.

How Can You Watch All Movies?

While playing High on Life you can watch anything from horror to comedy to a slasher movie. There are four licensed full-length movies that are available for watching and the titles are Vampire Hookers (1978), Blood Harvest (1987), Demon Wind (1990), and Tammy and The T-Rex (1994). You can watch all movies on your living room TV, next to alien Gene. Moreover, if you are a fan of the big screen, you can go and see them in a movie theater, although that path is a bit trickier than simply walking in your home’s living room.

To access the movie theater you have to go to Blorto’s Chef Stand and ask him for specials. Then buy “Movie Theater Warp Disc” from him and travel to the Upper Valley in Zephyr Paradise. Climb the hill to the old mansion grounds and approach the blue circle near the building. Once in the circle, select Movie Theater Warp Disc, and a Movie Theater will appear in front of you. When you go inside for the first time to watch a movie you will unlock the “We Paid For The Rights To Put A Whole Movie” achievement.
