You wouldn’t think that you’d have to get married in a cozy game that focuses on building a farm, however in this game, to progress through the storyline you need to get married. This means you need to find worthy suitors you fancy, get them to like you, and eventually marry them.
There are a total of eight people you can date in Story of Seasons a Wonderful Life. In order to make it past the first chapter of the game you need to find these characters and choose someone to marry. Thankfully, the game allows same-sex relationships so you’re not limited to your choices. Here are the different characters you can pick in the game:
- Cecilia – The farmhand
- Gordy – The artist
- Gustafa – The bard
- Lumina – The pianist
- Molly – The waitress
- Nami – The traveler
- Matthew – The farmhand
- Rock – The partier
How to Date in Story of Seasons A Wonderful Life
In order to date any of these characters in the game you need to raise their relationship levels. This can be achieved by giving them gifts they like, talking to them every day, or finishing heart events. Heart events are challenges that are triggered after you’ve interacted with a character for some time. They will trigger a cutscene if you arrive somewhere at a certain time of day. You need to choose dialogue that will boost your relationship with them causing you to become closer to them.
