All Healers in World of Warcraft: Dragonflight — Ranked Tier List

WHERE ARE THE HEALERS?!

It is no exaggeration to say that the healer in World of Warcraft is one of the most — if not the mostimportant roles in the game. After all, while it may be crucial to inflict damage on your enemies, you won’t last long without someone who knows their way around a healer class. It’s a thankless job, being a healer. So, why don’t we take some time to appreciate the best healer classes in World of Warcraft: Dragonflight?

It should be said that this tier list is entirely subjective, so you will probably disagree. But that’s OK! Just like healers, it’s important for us to have disagreements every now and again! In this list, we’ll rank the various healer classes in World of Warcraft: Dragonflight from S-rank to D-rank, with S-rank being the best and D-rank being the … less-best, if you will. Without further ado, let’s get started!

All Healers in World of Warcraft: Dragonflight Ranked

S-Rank

RESTORATION DRUID earns a spot in S-rank for the versatility it commands. Plus, despite mastery of this class requiring a fair amount of specialist knowledge, it seems to work well as an all-rounder, which can be helpful in the heat of battle.

A-Rank

PRESERVATION EVOKER takes a space in A-rank because of its ability to not only heal damage but dish it out, as well.

MISTWEAVER MONK takes a spot in A-rank because I value a multi-faceted character, especially one that seems to be effective at both facets. In this case, I value a specialization in both healing and melee combat because while ranged weapons can miss, it’s less likely when you’re close to both enemies and allies.

B-Rank

DISCIPLINE PRIEST lands in B-rank due to its general lack of mobility. In my experience, it’s the healer’s job to protect the tank or DPS classes, so if they need to protect the healer for long enough for them to do their job, it probably doesn’t matter how effective the healing is.

HOLY PALADIN also takes a space in B-rank for the same reason, though they’re more attuned to a clever mix of combat and healing. I am marking them down for their lack of mobility, though they have an edge over the Discipline Priest because of their dual specialization.

C-Rank

RESTORATION SHAMAN may be reliant on mana to do their job efficiently, but they can take a hit, which has some value in the heat of the moment. It also helps when your passive ability can contribute to the survivability of the team as a whole, which Far Sight does.

D-Rank

HOLY PRIEST may have landed in D-rank, but that’s not to say they’re the least valuable healer class. But, they do tend to focus on single-target healing, which … in a chaotic and complex game like World of Warcraft, I can imagine doesn’t help much.

Regardless of which healer class you pick, you are doing your team a service by playing as them. If you’d like more on World of Warcraft: Dragonflight, check out our other coverage, and remember to check back with Gamer Journalist for all your future entertainment needs!
