Before you can open these Chests however, you first need to obtain the charm ‘Disillusionment’. This allows you to not only sneak past enemies but to also open the Eye Chests. It is essential that you get this before finding the Chests listed below. You should also obtain the ‘Alohomora’ charm which will allow you to open locked rooms. This will also be essential to gaining access so that you will be in a position to open the Eye Chest. The Disillusionment Charm can be obtained early in Hogwarts Legacy’s Main Questlines. You must begin your Defence Against the Dark Arts lessons, where you will unlock the Incendio spell. It is when you attempt to sneak into the Library with Sebastian that you learn the Charm.

The Alohomora Charm is obtained through completing the ‘The Caretaker’s Lunar Lament’ Main Quest. This is a Quest that is accessed later into the game but will be essential to opening multiple Eye Chests that are in more hidden locations. For those searching for the 13 Eye Chests inside Hogsmeade, their locations are listed below.
